Acura EL 2000Change

A sub brand of Honda, known for their reliability; it reflects in this car. Going to work daily and out on the weekends it excels. I have also taken this out for long drives it preforms good but lacks good highway mileage and I end up losing a lot of gas that way. best preferred within the inner city. The car itself doesn't look particularity too bad; average. Overall it is very reliable; having 200km+ on it.

this is a sustainable car that survived all these years. No doubt it is one of the best cars i have ever used.

This car is extremely capable of handle any type of obstacle. whether its snow, rain or extreme temperatures. I have driven it for over a year now and have absolutely no complaints about it. This car got me through college all the way at King City and back without a single issue.

This car provides ultimate value for the price advertised and would be an ideal starter or secondary car for the economy-minded; both low fuel consumption and low maintenance, together with near-new winter tires makes a great value purchase.

owned one for eight years been nothng but great! got lots of compliments on the look and the car was great on gas fill it for under $40 and it would last at least a week, never had anything go wrong with it

it is a good reliable car which is also good on gas. it a a very sporty car which you can modify it to your own likes. it is a great car overall, the v tec engine gives it an extra boost when you need it at any time.

This car is affordable and the best car one can have. The fuel economy is just amazing since it can take you a long way before it needs to refill gas again. Also, the design and the gadgets inside the car is amazing. My kids are always so hyper when they are inside of it.

Nothing has gone wrong with the car.

As for regular maintenance:

Oil changes every 5000 km.

Front brakes pads/rotors 147000km.

Universal exhaust joint installed after running over a piece of rebar on the highway.

Rust starting on the front passenger side of hood.

This car is comfortable but for some people, the seats may feel a bit too leaned back so it may be uncomfortable. Its performance is excellent, once you step on the gas pedal the car smoothly accelerates. The car is a bit fuel consuming, its interior design is very well thought and the exterior is AWESOME. Its design is simply unmatchable. The Acura EL is one of the most reliable cars a person can ever want. :) HOPE THIS HELPS

gets me where i need to go, no troubles. never had a problem with it and its great on gas. bought it used and still works great.

My EL has been a reliable, economical smooth ride. It handles well on curves and the cruise control efficiency is excellent. Great trunk space; room for a car seat and 2 passengers in the back seat. The only complaint I have (while it's a small one) is the cup holders. Total waste of space! It is a silly design I've ever seen. So small! Drinks fall out and spill all the time. Very impractical. Otherwise, this has been a fantastic family vehicle.

It had about 30000 kms when purchased.
It now has 230000 kms and has hardly cost a thing to upkeep.
Battery, tires, timing belt is all.

Nice upscale starter without being too expensive. I loved this car, but it was too small with the growing family.
Bought used, 2 years old. A little hassle in the beginning with the transmission being iffy after a year, but dealer rebuilt it twice and no problems since.
