Acura EL 2005Change

Excellent mileage, comfortable seating. This vehicle lasts longer than almost any other car brand on the market. Fantastic, reliable. I will stick with Acura!

Comfortable, strong, reliable and very economical. I bought it second hand and drove it almost everywhere, such as at work, grocery and highway, It is just perfect.

its gettin bit rusty but i love the car it runs somewhat smoothy on almost all roads. it almost never stalls or jumps out of gear once in a while. the emrgency breack due to my eldest daugter is brocken she forgets about about it alot and leaves it on but i have gotten it fixed

This car is great owned it for 4 years and never gave me a problem has no power but its good enough...if your thinking of buying one go ahead you wont be disapointed.

the car was very disturbing, couldndt function well at all. my heart was always beating twice as fast and that was just getting near the car.

This car is great, worth every penny. Great on gas, minimal on repairs. I could drive from Ajax to Niagara Falls and back on just a Full tank of gas and still have gas left over!

Acura performance, comfort, luxury options and reliability, it's all in this car. The best on the market for long term reliability and value for the money.

I like Acura EL .it is a powerful car. I never had any problem with the engine. It was gas efficiency . I recommend people to get this car in future.

incredible car with very fine detail could not be happier with the performance and the over all feeling of the make its an old care but a great one! cant go wrong with these classics!!! really reliable car and am pleased to have owned it for quite some time now!

I bought this car with high hopes, and it sure fulfilled them! Although it i lacking a little power(1.7 litre engine), it makes up for it with its fuel economy (600-650 kms on the highway).
The fully loaded car comes with leather seats, a wood trim, metallic outlines, heated seats, a sunroof, and premium audio (great speakers!).
The exterior looks very classy, as my car is all black with a chrome trim. Looks very good, and the aluminum rims also look pretty snazzy!
As of now the only thing I've had to do is an oil change and will soon replace the timing belt (hitting 120 kms, will do it in the next 10-20 thousand), so it's reliable and cheap to run!
Overall, I love this car. It's my first car, and I have nothing bad to say about it!

Have had 2 ELs and no issues with either. Solid reliability on both highway and city roadways. No issues on mountain roads, as I travelled between BC and AB. No problem passing - good kick when needed.
Size is good for city parking spots!

it's a great car though it can mess up sometimes. it sometimes can also be very frustrating the radio sound quality is very nice.

Summary:

The best car I think I will EVER own!

Faults:

Original clutch had to be replaced at 315,000 KM! Nothing else major. Be sure to change the timing belt every 100,000km's. Also don't cheap out, change the water pump while you are at it.

General Comments:

I purchased my used Acura EL 1.7 back in 2005 with 82,000km. I am very proud to say that I am still driving this vehicle today with 317,000 KMs! This is the best car that I think I will ever own. My Acura and I have travelled to Vegas, Arizona and even to Mexico. This car has never let me down or made me walk!

Good solid car made from a good solid manufacturer, and best of all, it's built right here in Canada in Alliston Ontario!

this is the best car i have owned . reliable and an easy low maintenance ride. cheap to get parts and an easy modifier .so in my expirience a car that is worth it seriously worth getting and a great way to spend a nice day out riding .
