Volkswagen Jetta 1997Change

This is very much a CAR. No muss, no fuss - just a person mover that will never let you down. 2.0 litre engine is bulletproof and gets great fuel economy. Original transmission was a piece of junk - this car has only 17,000 kms on a BRAND NEW out of a sealed crate audi/vw transmission...will go for another 160k on this tranny without fail. I am starting to notice rust building up mostly around the wheel wells but, aside from some regular road wear and tear the body is holding up quite nicely for an older car.
My favorite thing about this vehicle would have to be the sightlines - very easy to see 360 degrees around the vehicle with no bulky frame plastic in your line of sight. It drives like a go-kart and fits everywhere easily yet has astonishing large storage capacity...love these little cars!

Three years ago I was on my way home from my friends house. It was very late nigdt and snowing hard. I was the only one on the road so I decided to take the highway thinking that it would be clear from snow since its a highway. but no, snow was very thick on the ground and still snowing hard. Anyway, asI was driving my car slide and brought me in to the ditch. I waited to see if someone would pass and help me but no, there is no one. I'm getting cold so I decided to rescue myself I tried pushing but the car wont move so I got back inside and start the engine and pressed the gas and moving the car with my body. After 30 minutes of doing the same the tires started to move and Im out of there. My experience I never forget.
