love this little car...great on gas.

The only downside is the rear shocks. They are note rated very high so don't over load the trunk, especially if you have passengers in back seat.

I actually used this car to move from one apartment to another. Most of my furniture fit into the back with the back seat folded down. Large items like my queen sized mattress and box spring went on top, It was just so great that I could do this with such a small vehicle. I saved hundreds of dollars that I did not have to spend on a moving company.
It is the greatest car every. I love driving on back roads and it handles the corners like a dream.
This is my third Accent - and I plan on buying a new one soon!

If you're at point A and need to get to point B without fuss, boy is this the car for you.

Vehicle is stylish without being too eye-catching and distracting. Four wheel discs all around are nice, and my only complaint would be headlights are a bit weak. Easy enough to fix if need though.

I drive the base model ('L' model in Canada) hatchback, so you can forget about any niceties like power windows or mirrors, automatic transmission, air conditioning or anything of that sort. But it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and the cabin layout is simple and easy to access everything you need. Heated mirrors would certainly be nice on the base model though for Canadian winters!

Performance is surprisingly peppy. With almost 140 horses under the hood the car can do 0-60 in under 7.5. For a subcompact economy car that's pretty good. Handling is typical pre-2016 Hyundai (ie: very vague) but chances are you're not buying a Hyundai Accent for weekends on twisty roads. Fuel economy is good - not great - but you'll get your 30mpg combined if you feather the accelerator.

Reliability is great. No issues other than a leaky CV joint which I've had fixed under warranty. Over the five years I've owned the car I've had no major concerns.

Overall a practical vehicle that'll get you where you need to go and nothing else. If you need cheap, reliable transportation and can do without fancy infotainment systems, this is the car for you.

This is the most reliable car we ever owned. It's easy to offer a 100,000 km warranty when nothing ever goes wrong, we never required a single repair while we owned this car. It's a surprisingly peppy and capable car, and it doesn't have that cheap feeling like our Chevy before it did.

My car has been pretty good since the day I got it. It's awesome on gas, and its super comfortable. Ive had a few problems with it, but nothing hasnt been an easy fix.

This car is very reliable. Comfortable for long trips and has great fuel economy. Hyundai also made a mistake when I purchased my vehicle and the fuel economy they had stated was incorrect. Rather than just tell all of the car owners with affected vehicles that their fuel economy was not actually as good as they thought and leave it at that - Hyundai is refunding their customers for the difference paid in gas every year for as long as you own the car. Hyundai is a great company with affordable and reliable vehicles. No complaints here.

Overall an awesome car with great styling inside and out. the 1.6L direct inject gives all the pep one needs and is very reasonable on fuel. I bought the 5 door hatch and it has all of the practicalities of most of the recent line up of Hyundai. Only draw back I can say about the car is the headlights are extremely poor as far as the optics goes. The dealer and Hyundai Canada at this point have had no solution beyond giving me higher output bulbs to try. This has made the lights brighter with the same poor optical patches of the normal bulbs. If they get the headlight issue addressed it will be a perfect car for anyone city or highway.

This is an excellent and economical car to be use. It saves gas and the design is perfect for people in the young generation. The interior design in fashionable and the seat color is perfect match with the exterior color.

Like reliving your youth. This car was sporty and sleek with fast performance and articulate smooth driving. Made you feel like a teenager enjoying the thrill of your first drive. Interior was luxurious and stylish and the outside looks like a very fancy rich car. I drove for miles with the windows open enjoying the fresh air and the wind blowing through my hair as I sped along the country roads. And such good mileage and cheap on gas too, a big advantage with today's outrageous fuel costs! This car is so affordable as well with all the extras and is surely a great deal. Everyone should get one of these vehicles.

I have had this car for a year and it has served me well. Four major road trips later and it's still going strong. I love my little accent.

Love my accent and will continue to drive a Hyundia, It is very fuel efficient and drives smooth to the road. Hyundai also helps me with anything I need and having a 7 year road side assistance is a huge bonus.

This is my second vehicle, I've had it for just under 6 months now. I found it was one of the least expensive cars to get all of the features I wanted (heated seats, bluetooth, aux. imput, etc).

They recently announced that the gas milage on these was not as good as initially advertised - but now you can register online to get money back on gas once a year, which is a bonus. The gas milage is still good, however, which makes it even better for commuting.

The interior is comfy, the car rides well. I drive for over an hour every weekday and this car makes my ride much more enjoyable.

My only complaint is that the car is slightly loud when going over bumps. It also isn't the most powerful car but it gets the job done.

I use this car daily to comute to work.Its a good little car.I travell 175 kilometres a day to work and it has never let me down.

We bought it a month ago, and we're surprised. We still don't have to fill our gas tank. Its a cute and sexy car! WORTH a look at. It drives WELL.

Amazing car for the price of it. The Fuel Economy is amazing, I put 30 dollars in it a week and it last all week for me going to and from work. The style of the car great too, looks sporty. Nothing like the old accents you see beating around town. The inside of the car has plenty of room in it, being a plus size person and being tall too made having enough room in my car a must when I was buying it. You should look at this car if you are looking to buy something on the cheaper scale and want it to look sporty.

No power, not the greatest fuel economy, have had older cars better on gas. Easily not one of the best cars I've had but on a positive note it isn't the worst and gets the job done.

The 2012 Accent is a great car for commuting - with fantastic fuel mileage, steering wheel controls, and a comfortable ride. The Hyundai warranty has covered the only issue so far (squeaking driver's side door). With low-price maintenance and parts and a great starting price, this is a good first car for anyone.

It was a smooth ride, and cheap on gas. It has good breaks and good tires. install dvd player for kids and you are ready to go. The best looking colour is the red.
